Reset Your Hotel Safe Code In 60 Seconds!
Hi i am going to buy a makita but i don't know which one ,181 or a 190 any ideals
I did exactly the same and still not working but, on my case, one of the cable that comes out from the ceiling has 4 wires🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️, perhaps that’s the reason
Hi, did you take a photo of the existing light before you took it down? Then you can double-check the wiring!
@@FixitwithFowler i did and I have connected all the wires as they should and still not working
@@FixitwithFowler the new light is connected to a 3 gang switch that’s controlling the light outside, downstairs in the hallway and upstairs
@arcadiefiliponioi9133 oh that's no good, what connectors did you use?
@@FixitwithFowler Ideal Lever Wire Connectors, got them from SF
Bit more of a challenge when the floorboards are toenailed in. Then you need a grinder with cutoff wheel.
Definitely, this is how older houses are done in the UK, but newer houses have chipboard floors, which are a nightmare!
Do they sell those in america?
I'm not sure if they ship to America as this is a UK company! The link is in the description!
Nice straight-forward review with some good tips. I have the Makita drill with two batteries so saw this as a reasonable option.
That's exactly what I have done. It makes sense, especially if you already have batteries and a charger!
I have those fence panels at the back of my garden. And need to replace about 3 of those boards. Are they called shiplap panels?
These are feather edge boards, meaning one side is thinner than the other. Shiplap boards, actually fit together like a tongue and groove system.
Nice job buddy. Thank you fir the helpful vid.
Cheers
how long does the battery last?
As I said in the video, I trimmed my hedge, which is 2.5m high and nearly 100 meters long, and only used 1 bar on the battery
Hi
Hi
great videos, Sir. Thank you!
Thanks for your comment, I'm glad you like the video!
Great job! I hope I don't goof up my shed.😬
No you won't, just take your time!
Awesome video so clear and clear. Thank you so much!
No problem, I'm glad the video was helpful!
The main thing that I've learnt from this is to use nails instead of picture hooks. I'm looking forward to using the fork trick and telling my wife that I thought it up all on my own. 😉
You should. She will think you're a genius 😉
Insert without O ring (non super seal) is to be used with compression fittings
Thanks for the info!
@FixitwithFowler oh I'm not a plumber but just observed that may be a possibility. What you reckon? Or you could have cut a little bit of the cistern away to get angled fitting out and install new one with bigger washer if needed. If the water ever got that high it gonna leak out top anyways.
Can you show us how to do a staircase hand rail
Unfortunately, I don't need to do one at the minute, but when I do, I will definitely make a video
@@FixitwithFowler ok I didn't realise it was just projects you are doing at the time. Thank you anyway for your response. Cheers
@Brera73 yes I just film jobs I'm doing mainly around my house!
@@FixitwithFowler gotya... Cheers matey
No problem!
Flipping the tape roll the other way around makes it easier to apply it tight without ending up unspooling the entire roll.
Yeah, I realised after I made the film. Thanks for your tip and your comment 👍
Actually found a video with exact same fitting! Really helpful, followed it to the latter but still running a bit so off I go to Amazon for a replacement rubber seal but thank you, thank you! Fingers crossed.
Brilliant, hopefully you will get it sorted out!
Would be better using limescale remover
Never thought of trying that!
Excellent tutorial 👍
Thanks for your comment, I'm glad you liked the video 👍
I'm curious as to whether you can anneal the olive with a torch to return it to its original shape if it is distorted. You can do this with copper compression washers used on oil drain plugs in engines. I'm guessing the olives would be so cheap that it wouldn't be worth doing though.
Hi, you can get a pack of olives so cheap it's not worth doing. However, I didn't know you could do that, so that's a good bit of info! Thanks for your comment 👍
I just wanna know if the patio t150 can get a brush attached coz the plastic bucket alone is just shit
No, unfortunately, not that I know of. That's why I prefer the dirt blaster lance!
Argh, wash the gutter!
Maybe another time!
That fork tip is genius!
I'm glad you found the tip helpful ☺️
Great stuff, missed this yesterday. She had me slaving away making bank holiday cocktails. Still hanging this morning. Don't recover as quick in your 50s. I think the pictures would have been hanging upside down yesterday haha.
That's a good way to spend the day, although I'm not sure I could cope with the hangover! Thanks again for your comment 👍
@@FixitwithFowler I very rarely touch the stuff. Too much like hard work the next day.
@markvincent5241 yeah I'm terrible with hangover
These look brilliant, I'm going to order some.
The Qwickhose connectors aren't cheap but definitely worth it!
Another great video. Thank you 🙂
I'm glad you liked the picture hanging video. Thanks for your comment 👍
Thank you. That fork!! Ingenious.
I'm glad you found the video useful. Don't forget to give the video a 👍. Thanks for your comment!
Brilliant!
Cheers
Another really good video, love the picture frame collage at the end it looks so easy to do!
Thanks, the picture collage looks really good now it's full of photos!
The fork yip is brilliant, the time I have spent trying to hang pictures.😊😊
Yes, it makes it so easy! Thanks for your comment 👍
Another good one fix it 😂👍🏻
Lol, thanks for your comment, mate. Now you've got no excuse to put some pictures up!
Great tip using the fork.
Hi, yeah it does make it so easy to get the string or wire on the picture to sit on the nail! Thanks for your comment 👍
I sandblasted my victorian bricks. They look great, but have now realised my mistake. I should have used acid wash instead. The bricks are now more porous than they would have been before.
It's the first time I've used this brick acid and it does clean the mortar off quite well. Thanks for your comment 👍
that's actually a good comparison. In my opinion the bigger karcher attachment isn't too bad if used regularly. I bet cleaning the pation next month with 1st and second method would make the spinning yellow attachment win. Same results, and quicker!
The bigger attachment (karcher surface cleaner) is perfect for maintaining a clean patio as it contains the mess/water whilst cleaning. However, for the first clean of the patio, in my opinion, the dirt blaster lance was best.
Hey! really enjoyed the video. Any idea for what types of chemicals I can use to target algae and moss? Thanks!
Hi, I am just filming a video exactly for that. I am trying something called wet and forget. amzn.to/3JNUv3R thanks for your comment!
Interesting - I use Cilit Bang Black mould remover and it works every time.
Hi, thanks for your comment!
Thanks Fowler for the great video.
No problem, I'm glad you liked the video, and thanks for your comment 👍
None of them at al, simply rinse and dry it after every use, you will never get mould. It is as simple as that...
Yeah, prevention is better than cure!
This is absolutely brilliant for an average DIYer, do you by any chance do the same on doors?
You can do the same thing on some doors. However, you will need to remove a small section of the door seal to check that it sits in a groove and is not just glued on. Thanks for your comment 👍
where did you get the Perma White tinted Steve ?
Zinsser tinted it for me, however the decorators centre do it aswell
Thanks for that, saved me £20 as am sticking with my lance.
No problem 👍 I'm glad the video has helped and, more importantly, saved you money!
Maybe use 20mm clout nails instead? Also for one layer make sure it's a heavier grade.
Hi, thanks for your comment. I used slightly longer clout nails as they were going into the joists, and they grip better. Even with cheap grades, felt so long as the fixings are decent it's fine. That's why this is glued and nailed.
Brass connectors are best especially with 15mm or 19mm hoses.
just got one spot on
I was really impressed with mine, thanks for your comment 👍
It's not universal if ya have to replace the yellow screw connector too.
You don't have to replace the yellow screw connector, I did because I got one in the pack!
Good advice steve xx
Thanks
Can’t wait to to see more videos
There will be a new one every weekend, thanks for your comment 👍
All my hozelock connectors leak!
So did mine, but not now I've changed to these Qwickhose connectors
If that rotting post had beed concreted in wouldn't be 10 minutes 😂
It was concreted in, I put it 7 years ago! It's the kango that makes the difference
Ear defenders for an electric strimmer 😂 really 🙄
Well, I had comments on my last video about ppe, and according to the instructions, they are recommended. So, to please the audience, I complied with the instructions (for the video) at least!
